Coney Island Hot Dog - Bailey?

I've watched as the Coney Island Hot Dog stand was moved from Aspen Park (to make way for a bank as I understand) to its new location on the east side of US285 just on the southern outskirts of Bailey. It appears that someone is preparing it for an re-opening.
Anyone have any insight into when they'll start serving those delicious 'dogs' again?

Mike O... no insight on when it will be opening. Could be soon, could be months. There were rumors it would open last autumn. Many code violations the owner had not anticipated and had to work through. Would be a nice place to stop off at on the way to South Park eh?

Steve,
It strikes me that it's in an odd location (if that is indeed it's final destination). Compared to the Aspen Park location which was in the middle of a retail/commercial area, this new location almost looks like its in someone's front yard. Maybe that explains some of the code violations? Anyone driving North on US285 just as they come around the bend before the current location is greeted with what looks like a huge...oh, never mind, you get the idea.
Who knows...Well, I drive by there frequently (taking Dad to see the place on Indian Mountain next week) and don't see much activity. If I notice anything worth posting about the place, I'll do it here.
Regards,
Mike O

As I understand it, the owner has deep pockets to offset lack of foresight. He bought the restaurant and decided he would place it in the parking lot at the closed Will-O-Wisp restaurant just south of Pine Junction. After closing on the restaurant he went to work on buying/placing the restaurant at Will-O-Wisp. Learned there wasn't enough water there after the fact. Now what to do? He quickly bought the home from an elderly church friend of mine who's husband had recently passed away and she was moving to Denver for health reasons of her own. After the close he learned he had all kinds of zoning and permit restrictions for the property he bought. Thus, Coney Island closed during the peak summertime.
