I bought this one new 25 years ago, although I didn't ride from '93 thru late '06.
http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u179/denydog/IMG_1631.jpg

I put 7,000 miles on it in the last year, including some touring.  On the way back from STN's WCRM IV.

Since I intend to keep on sport touring, and don't want to wear the classic Suzuki out on the longer trips, especially long stretches on the freeway, I decided to add a modern bike.  I was all set to get a Bandit 1250, but changed my mind at the last minute.  I think they make a nice set anyway. Contrary to my wife's wishes, I'll never sell the Suzuki.

I love the photo with the old GS and the new Bandit, side by side.  Perhaps a new thread with side by sides?  A Z1 and a ZX14?  A CB750 and a Blackbird?  And green grass and a doggie too.  Sorry.  Back to the Suzies.    (Honey!  My meds!  Hurry!)

If you're referring to my picture, unfortunately I didn't end up getting the Bandit, although I originally thought the idea of having an old GS and new Bandit was great.  I went with the BMW instead.  But your thread idea is great!
