I plan to send in an extra seat I have in a few weeks unless a used corbin comes available. I tried to customize one myself and while its better that stock it still sucks.

That's my plan too. Trick is finding a good used seat, a lot are previously modified.

Lotsa ST1300 riders over on ST-Owners.com have positive comments on Spencer's mod to the 1300's seat.

I just got back from about 700 miles (multiple trips) on my modified Spender Seat (LD upgrade). It doesn't feel much different when you get on it, but after 500 miles I noticed that my butt was not sore at all. He also increased the front so it wouldn't slide forward so bad. Definitely worth the $100 bones I threw at it.

I have a spencer seat as well. Same deal. Not TOO huge a difference when you sit on it since it's still the stock foam mostly, but after a long day you won't be as sore.
He doesn't raise seats, so after I got mine back I decided to do that myself. Now I think I am finally through with messing with the 250 seat. For ~$100 for the spencer mods and $25 for what I did after (new vinyl too) it's less than half the cost of a corbin and it needed new vinyl anyway.

Well I just got a 'new' stock seat, so I'm going to send it off to Spencer after Thanksgiving. Probably won't get a chance to give it 500 mile day till spring though.
I may still pick up one more seat, and try some things I learned from all the engineers in the seating department at work, just to compare.
