Next Sunday, Oct. 14th.

Leaving from Seacoast in Derry at 8:30.  Ride to Fiddleheads Cafe in Hancock where Skip will take the lead over some of his 'private stock' and through several Covered Bridges in Southern NH.  We will end up in Greenfield where we will watch the World Champion Pumpkin Chucker do his thing!

This will be a fairly long ride at a mellow pace!  Last ride of the season for Seacoast!

Details here...

Check my website for any last minute changes or updates!

This is a different ride. This is a Seacoast Ride. The ride on Saturday is put on by the local FJR group.

What is a Trebuchet you ask?

I went with Mrs. G  on pillion on the  29th of sept. ride  led by Nice Rumble. The roads were nice as was the scenery.  It's good  enough for a do-over say the wife and I. Not sure if I'll go to Derry or Hancock to join up, but I'll probably be there.    I might bring my GPS to save a few nice side roads for future reference.

Indeed CJ was with us on the 29th. The ride will be different after the lunch stop as we wend our way via the infamous River Rd in Surry to Greenfield to the Trebuchet.
The 29th may have had warmer weather but I would say the colors are now peak.

Given the near freezing temperatures expected tomorrow morning, plan on meeting at Fiddleheads a half hour later, 9:30. This will give us a little more time for things to warm up. The Seacoast guys aren't expected to arrive until then anyway.

Thanks to the leaders, sweepers and organizers of the ride, excellent job keeping 20+ bikes all together.  A bit chilly this morning but a great day overall on the bike.
Too bad the pumkin fell out, oh well maybe next time.

until next time

Hey!  Great ride today. Great folks, fine riding, awesome roads, and....for those who stayed...a pumkin launch that looked like it achieved sub-orbital height and velocity!

Great pics Mike...

About how many bridges did we go through? I lost count.

Is there a map of the route we took? I might want to do that again.

Contact Dave who lead the Seacoast riders over to Hancock. He has the tracks from his GPS.
