I've stayed at the Microtel and the Phillips Motel.  Both were acceptable.  The Phillips motel has rags you can use to wipe the dew off your bike in the morning.  I'd be wary of the little cafe across the street for the Phillips Motel.  I was less than impressed.

The place next door to the Phillips has been sold.  When I was up there over Labor Day the new managers had the place shut down for renovations.  Maybe they will improve things as I had heard the same story from others.  I have to admit there really arent any "good" places to eat in Robbinsville.

Thanks for all the replies.

Unfortunately, one of the bikes had some last minute mechanical issues, and too much time was lost in trying to rectify those problems.
We wouldn't have been able to get there and start any riding until Sunday morning, and then head home Monday.

Very disappointed, very angry...all this was simply a matter of maintainance.

Still, I've gained a renewed hatred for parts punks/mental midgets out of the situation.

Too bad. You missed a great weekend down there.  I went down Thursday evening/Friday morning and bombed the Skyway/Dragon loop, bought the t-shirt and stickers, had some BBQ and got about 8 hours sleep.  It was 70 and sunny!  Rode back to Michigan on Saturday morning; it was a bit cool leaving early in the morning, but the day improved as the sun came up.  Made it home in 9 hours.  Razz  The LEOs were still present in force on the Dragon.  Rolleyes  That reminds me.  I need to check Killboy for pics!
