It's not that I'm made of sugar, and might melt...

It's that I'm made of STEEL, and might RUST...

If I didn't ride in the rain my bike might never get washed!  Besides, riding in the rain counts as a bath for BMW riders on tour.

I ride in the rain.  I even ran my WERA race school during a monsoon.  Talk about the "oh well, guess I have to do this now" feeling.  Had pilot powers on the bike.  The bike was a bit more upright, throttle control was critical, but I have to admit it was fun.   Thumbsup

You're about right.  It's hard to wash a bike that's moving...

My beginner riding course first range day was during a day-long deluge. So imagine about 20 unexperienced riders learning about clutch control and emergency stops on wet pavement. Fortunately, only one person dumped a bike.

Rain doesn't bother me but I don't seek it out. A couple of years ago I was riding Gunnison/Hotchkiss/Delta/Durango. Rained damn near the whole time.

Several years ago I got caught between Burns and Bend Oregon in a hail storm. THAT SUCKED! There's no place to hide out there.  Crazy

Motorcyclists who don't ride in the rain are posers; just like owners of Hummers that that don't go offroading.  Smile

Heck, I even ride thru automatic carwashes ....

Just joking guys.

Don't really enjoy riding in the rain, but I also don't go running for shelter if it does. I do however hate having to clean the bike after being out in the rain.

I work from 10 at night to 6 in the morning, and if it rains....... it rains.  Be careful and watch for the cagers and be seen.  It's not to bad.
