I was in my local Honda dealer this morning and saw a 98 CBR1100XX for sale that had only 659KM's on it.  EEK!

A salesman told me they have it on consignment for a guy who bought it new, took one ride on it and then stored it for all those years.

That bike developed a solid following.  I know a few fellows who have owned it and all liked it a lot.  What were they asking for it?

I'll volunteer to deliver it (ride it) to Toronto, in nice weather that is.   Bigok

And I promise not to go over the speed limit.  That would be against the law.   Bigsmile

I've heard people say "real money" meaning *green* money.  I've also heard Canadian bills referred to as Monopoly money.  That might be what he meant ($14000 in real money).

Real money? Is that like those American Pesos?  Bigsmile

I was shocked to see a bunch of Mexican workers arrive in Edmonton. My friend joked with me that they gave themselves a 10% raise sneaking over the Canadian border.

I saw that XX yesterday.  Hmmmm, very interesting.  I have no idea what fair market value in Canada on this baby really is, anyone have opinions on what is a fair price on a '98 XX?

So you get a 10 year old bike, with old hard tires, junk in the carb jets from stale gas, an old dead battery and no warranty for about the original 1998 price.
Gee... where does the line form?  Rolleyes
