As a lot of you know by now, I'm a new transplant here in the DFW area. Being just east of Dallas gives me ample opportunity to love the city without having to be too close.

With the new move comes a new home. We should be moving into our home in Fate in just a couple of weeks. We're excited.

While the job brought me down here, it wasn't as kind to my wife who had to leave a wonderful job. She still hasn't found anything similar yet. As a result, she's been toying with the idea of opening a pie shop (out of our home first, as an upper-end, custom gourmet type pie shop). We have some pretty extraordinary ideas.

Anyway, being that we'll have a new home to 'warm' and a new idea that we'd like to test on a market before really committing... well... Think you wanna come on up for a 'run' and sample some pies in our new casa?

This is just in the 'it's a thought' phase, but it sounds like a fantastic way to actually meet a bunch of great folks and get some feedback on our budding pie idea. Mid to late Novemberish? Free Pie?

Whatcha think?

Oh, and you can ride your motorcycle here... There, on topic...

How about the spring.  What is you zip code?  I guess you're floundering in reality in D/FW now.   Wink

Free Pie and only 200 miles away, sounds good to me.As long as the weather holds out I don't see any down side to this proposition.

P.S. Are you going to the Cycle World show in Fort Worth 11-9 thru 11-11?

Damn. If it wasn't so far (and cold) to ride from Boise, I'd be all over that.

Many years ago, when I lived in Austin, I had a lady friend who made a living making and selling gourmet cheese cakes to local restaurants. They were realy good, I mean really good. Expensive, too.

Sounds like a great idea. I wish you both the best in your new home.

If only the ST were functional, I'd be there in about 6 hrs. That and I want to go to a bike shop there that has the Olympia phantom suit.  Hmmm...I could trailer the DRZ over and ride from there.

I will come up (if here) gone till the 7th. You know you better not put this up on TWT (seen you there too) you will have 20+ bikes there..

I see/saw you put your bike up for sale.. is it still or did you back out of that?
