It's actually 28 1/2 as measured by the people that hem my work pants... 9 inches shorter than my bike's seat height.

You might want to revise the poll to what your jean inseam is - almost everyone knows that, and practically  nobody knows what the actual measurement is (and no, they're not the same).

I'm somewhere between 27" and 28".... but I voted 28", since I always ride with my platform boots anyway. Wink

One of the virtues of cruisers.   I have a neighbor who's about 4' 10" and weighs in at about eighty pounds.   She rides an 1100 Yamaha VStar and is talking about going with something with a little more displacement.

I can't get both heels down on my ST1100.  There, I said it.

I am deeply concerned about the motive behind this poll. BDSM, are you a tailor?? I shall NOT be telling you that my inside leg measurement is 33". So there.

Oops I went with pant inseam before reading the "to floor" part so add a few more for me, I have yet to find a bike I could ride due to height including the BM RGS.

Most are Jap manufacturers. Japanese on average are shorter than Americans so I don't think they will change. Good thing the ST1300 has a adjustable height seat.

Now I can see why most bikes feel so small.  With a 34" pant inseem my legs are so bent I feel perched on most bikes.  I even had to modify the KLR pegs and levers to properly fit my legs and size 13 boots.

34" here. Looks like that is the majority so far. Funny, another poster said it was 30" earlier...looks like STN is growing!

Thats something of a misconception as many of the Japanese bikes we purchase are made primarily (if not soley) for export. In fact it is somewhat rare to find any machines in Japan over 400CC, it is certainly a TINY market for such bikes, which would indicate to me that most Japanese motorcycles that we see are soley made for our market along with Europe.

As stated - it should be ur pants inseam & not to floor.

I used to sell police & fire uniforms and had to measure people.  Most people think their legs are longer than actually R.  Anybody here posting 33 or bigger has to be either all legs or 6'3" or taller.

33" for jeans, so between 34" and 35" to the floor, and I'm 6'2" tall.  Only had to tippy-toe on a GS1150 Adventure, or an open class motocrosser, since I stopped getting any taller.  That's why I don't ride a "race-replica" sportsbike.
