MCN has announced a 08 Honda model release video tomorrow morning.  I'd post a link but have to go to work. Seems they may have been holding out on us.

Could Honda keep the lid on that many new models?

Unveiling at an Italian show, the audacity!

Does this mean new motorcycles, or are outboards, lawn mowers and generators included?

Ok, Ok, I read it closely, it is an advertizement for MCN, they claim to show 23 new models in their next issue, that's 23 new models, NOT 23 new Hondas.

They could be hitting us with the new DN-01 sport scooter. Sleepy  I'd rather see 599 and 919 replacements in the States.

I'm confident it won't be any v-motor sportbikes, but I could still be excited if they follow thru with the retro racer that's been floating around the past few weeks (inline four, steel tube frame, dual rear shocks, dual round headlights, red, white and blue paint)

Disclaimer before I start my rant... I've owned a VFR750, Wing 1200, Interstate 1500, Wing 1800 so obviously I'm not a Honda hater.
But... why the frick does Honda suck so bad nowadays?   My Wing 1800 had the usual reliability probs (overheating, frame cracking) but that was in 2002.  A bud and two of his friends bought Wing 1800s (one 2007, two 2008 models) for a trip up the coast.  All three broke down, all three with different problems. Brand spankin new bikes.  Now I see another recall for the VFR.  That VFR Vtec trip across America that was recently posted (which was very cool) had a major breakdown too, the RR as usual.  Which also happened to other members on this site.
Then, every frickin year Honda leads on the press (who spew it all out hook line and sinker) that this will be the year.  Then nothing (in the US) apart from maybe a sport bike revision.  This year it's going to be the CBR1000.  And it looks like that's it.
Look what the Euros are doing.  Look at all the new models from KTM. The new models from Ducati.  The 5 frickin new models from BMW (and that's after they released new bikes last year too).
It's sad really.  Just look at Honda's website.  Even that is maybe the worst motorcycle website around.
I really don't think they care in the US anymore.  And I don't understand why.

The 250 scooter looked cool, but they need to drop a 400 cc in it to compete with the burgman 400.
