I got my fun & informative copy of this month's American Motorcyclist and found a blurb about WI Senate Bill 267...

Senate Bill 267
An Act to renumber 341.14 (6w); and to create 341.14 (6w) (b) of the statutes; relating to: special distinguishing registration plates for motorcycles owned or leased by fire fighters, rescue squad members, or emergency medical technicians.

Here's a linky for the official stuff..http://www.legis.state.wi.us/2007/data/SB267hst.html

Just thought some of you first responders might be interested in this. AMA recommends contacting your poly-tician to show your support.  Smile

I wish Illinois would add specialty plates for bikes.  I've been a firefighter for 27 years and would be proud to put one the bike.

First responders are as important as nurses and docs. I applaud their efforts, and the state DOT recognition.
