OK anyone else out there get this one? Holy Crap the graphics on HD are getting very real my friends!! So far I am really liking this game. Halo 3 will not get much use from me for a while. Halo 3 was a good filler between Gears of War and COD4 but that was about it. I hate to admit it but I played for 12 hours yesterday.

ah...but wait until they cap out the Playstation 3 CELL chip in a few more years
Nothing like real-time rendered physics...shell a car, and watch it flip due to simulated real forces.
Games are getting very nice. I just posted about Need for Speed ProStreet, another beautiful game.
Now I just need that $2300 1080p plasma screen.

Man that might just push me over the edge to the point of having nightmares of SAS, Marine Force Recon or Southwestern Russian Muslims (not sure they have a name in the game) blasting me in the face with an RPG or M60.

The physics are already here with Half Life2.
Call of Duty4 is pretty sweet. The AC-130 Specter map was much fun!

Screw plasma, go with DLP.
Then you would be going backwards.
Plasma rules.

I checked it out on my buddies enormous TV monday night (after football). Wow... just wow! Break out the sniper rifle and cap a guy in the head, not only do you get realistic blood spatter up the wall behind him but his helmet flips up into the air as the body falls to the ground. The types of weapons you get to use is incredible, between the ground, the helicopter door guns, the AC-130...
They're definately pushing the lines of
too
real.

It is called moderation. Set a specific time block aside for gaming and leave it at that. Try it sometime.

I have the PC version. I am running a quad core processor (Q6600), 2 gig ram, and a 320meg 8800GTS video card and I was not able to run on the highest settings. But, it kicked butt and was absolutely amazing. You will need a pretty heavy duty card to run this. The good news is that prices have come down a bit.

How is the multi-player option on the PS3/Xbox? And not the online, I'm talking two folks on the same box. Can you go through a campaign together or just the same crappy hunt each other down BS like the last one?

Just like the old one, there is no co-op campaign. Developers need to wakeup and realize that co-op campaing (online and offline) is a requirement for next gen games.
