The 1250 is an early bird when it comes to the low fuel light warning (there isn't a reserve BTW). I get about 225-250 miles to a tank but the warning light comes on about 125-150.

I was going to go with the Suzuki baggs until I saw a bike from the rear with them on it. Man those things stick way out. They could have easily moved them 2 inches closer to make it look narrower. I have since decided to sell my B1250 so I am not going to put bags on it. But If i did i would probally go with  soft bags.

Compared to what? The 1250 with bags is slender compared to my ST13. Sounds like it wasn't your cup of tea though anyways...what are you going to buy after the Bandit?

I wish I could but the bike is away for the Winter and the bags are all boxed up. Come Spring though, I'll be glad to shoot pics and even take a measurement.

I saw a Bandit with factory bags at the Calgary Motorcycle Show last weekend, and it didn't seem to me that the bags stuck out farther than normal. In fact, the bike looked narrow compared to many STs with hard bags.

Yes, no problem.

They are reflectors. But the side case kit includes parts for moving the turning signals up. And this works really well. The signals are up about 6-8" over stock and more in the line of sight for the typical cage driver behind you.

yeah, I noticed the blinkers were moved up. A problem with a top case I've heard is that all the SUV drivers have a hard time seeing your brake light because 1. The angle and the Top case shields it and 2. They are always on your ass, but the right twisty thing takes care of that . I am liking this bike more and more for its adaptable nature. On a side note I have noticed that either they sell alot or nobody carries them because they are hard to find right now. I like that 07 red alot, too bad it isn't ABS. You're right about that! I was at my dealer in the late Fall and spoke with the owner. He asked how I was liking the Bandit. I told him it was the best bike I've owned - very pleased - amazing bang for the buck. He mentioned that for him (he moves about 500 units a year) it was the sleeper of the year. He sold all of the Bandits he had ordered and had to have 4 others shipped in from other dealers in the northeast for customers that were hunting for one. He was planning to order twice as many for the '08 season.

When you consider how the motorcycle press has raved about the newest generation of the Bandit, it may help to explain its renewed popularity. Always a great bike, now made better.

Thanks for the addition. From these pics they seem to be very cavernous bags.  I wouldn't lane split with them on. Not as integrated as say an FJR, or ST 1300. But looks good enough.
