Decided to take off Saturday and ride down there for a couple of days. I rode to Key West about this time last year and had a hard time finding a place to stay. I am looking for reasonable priced camping out there. Any suggestions?
Also, last time I rode down there I noticed some people camping out on the old bridge, it that kosher there?

Friends and I drove down in the beginning of December about 10 years ago.  Very slow.  We had our pic of places to stay.  Wait a week and try then.  It was so quiet we did the same trip a year later.  I stayed here a both times, great staff!  http://southernmostpoint.com/

When I camped near Key West, I made reservations on http://www.reserveamerica.com to make sure I had a spot. Just make sure you are there for check-in before they close around sundown. I pulled in as the guy was locking the gates.

I've camped out at the KOA on Sugarloaf Key a few times, just above Key West.  They've got a bar, pool, beach access.  Great place to relax.
