ZX14 gas tank question
«
on:

Is it metal, plastic?
Or is the back half metal and the front part a plastic cover?
Just curious if my current tank bag setup will work...just doing research.

The front (top) plastic, rear (lower) is steel where the gas is and it extends under the seat. Yes, I'm doing research, might go for a 14 myself....
From what I've learned magnetic tankbags will not work...........

Go get her done Captain. You know you want one.
I am using the Luggage-Locker for my tank bag set-up . Love it. Some may not like the look, but sometimes functionality rules. Easy-on-easy-off and no fuss about marring up your tanks finish.

Yup, front half is plastic, rear half is metal. My travel tank bag I used on my XX wouldn't work. It would stick to some degree, but any amount of power would cause it to start to rise up off the tank. I also use a Luggage Locker brand Tank Locker and I love it.
