Anything that works too well will eventually get outlawed - and so it is with the great product.

A few years ago the Honda brand spray cleaner was banned from MD and VA.  That stuff works great, and all the others I have tried since basically suck.
Is the original formula still sold in the states?
Would someone be interested in helping me acquire a case (I'll pay to have it shipped).

Never mind - I found a place that will ship it.

Tried that - not as good - not even close.
Whatever was in that Honda stuff must really have been toxic to work that well. Headscratch

As I only really clean my bike once in a while I need the strong stuff - the spray waxes just don't remove the bugs and grime very well.

If you say so... I've used both and I like Plexus better. But I try to keep my bikes relatively clean.

I've used both.... It "seems" that Plexus forms a better base, makes bugs a bit easier to remove..

MacQuires quick detail spray works quite well and is very affordable. You can combine with their quick wax if you want to shine things up a bit more.

Motorcycle Stuff makes a polish that is very close to the old formula Honda polish.

How close:
It smells like the old Honda Polish,
It cleans like the old Honda Polish,
and its made by the same company that formerly produced the old formula Honda Polish here in the USA.

The dealer right here has a few more cases of 'honda' branded cleaner.

The 'original spray cleaner' that is in the same can sans 'honda' on it works exactly the same (tried them side by side).  I'm a huge Plexus fan, but for the now much cheaper 'original' cleaner, I'm going with it.  Doesn't smell quite as good, but easier to apply than Plexus.  I still think Plexus forms a better, slicker base though.

But...

If your bike is just washed, the spray on carnuba mists work extremely well with very little effort; especially the Eagle1 stuff.  Cheap as dirt too!

Oddly, the Honda dealer!  I've found it everywhere they sell any motorcycle cleaning agents.  While I like Plexus best, I will easily choose the Original Spray Cleaner over it just for the cost savings.  While I don't think it smells as good, I painfully admit that I think for most of my needs it actually works better than Plexus since it doesn't streak as badly.  You do use more of it though, but it works for dirtier stuff better.  For visors, I still like Plexus best.

Plexus only streaks if you don't use a clean cloth, in my experience.

If you find it streaks, why use it on faceshields? Headscratch
