? For 2720 owners

After extensive research I decided that the 2720 would be the best GPS for my needs. Somehow I overlooked the fact that it doesn't have a headphone jack.
Is there a way to connect the 2720 to my Autocom or do I have to exchange it for the 2730?

You have to get either a motorcycle mount kit or the cable that is part of it. The cable has both a power lead & an earphone jack. I have a 2610 & they are the same in that respect. I got mine on eBay but you can also get them elsewhere.

For just a few $$$ more, go ahead and buy the whole kit - the mount is the best mount from what I found while researching when I got my 2720.
Its the first item in the list.........

I have a 2720 and love it.
I do not use the audio hookup although I have the full kit.
My older Autocomm Pro-7 has only 1 hook up which I use the radar and Ipod for (Spilter).
The screen is big enough where I do not miss road changes.
I really do like the fact that the GPS spells out the road names. On a bike this is a BIG help.
I like the spoken street names when I am in the car.
For the $375.00 I pad for mine, I think it is not only a excellent GPS but a fantasic bargin.
The waterproof part is great on the bike also.
Tom.

However, what I like even more about the 2610 is I can drive to a US airport (PHL) with US maps in place (yeah, yeah, yeah, I know the route but in case of unexpected detours...), swap out the US maps for European maps and be good to go when I land in Germany (FRA). All without needing to do uploads from a laptop. That Garmin dropped this from thr 27xx and 28xx series is why I don't upgrade.
