The young lads almost blew it. Dominated the first, then rested on their good looks in the third. The herring eaters could have easily stole it away. Great outcome, great way to spend a winter afternoon. I think I'll have a Molson's and a Tim's to celibrate eh. Bigok

There was a sequence in the 3rd period when the Swedes couldn't even get out of their own end. The forechecking was so strong that it looked like they had a penalty and were shorthanded. I said "This is ridiculous". A few minutes later they scored and it changed the whole game. They started believing that they could win and the Canucks looked almost panic stricken. The tying goal was no shock and I was doing the nail biting thing also in the overtime. Forechecking is an amazing thing!

Way to go lads!!!!! Thumbsup Thumbsup Thumbsup


I celebrated by going to "We will rock you" and the song "We are the champions" sure took on a special meaning. Wooooooo hooooooo!

(Great show BTW. If you're near Toronto, I highly recommend it. It's at the Canon Theatre))
