I was reading something that mentioned this late 70's early 80's series
on ABC's Wide World of Sports. Not being able to remember ever seeing it and wishing
that I had, I reached for an internet time-warp and instant gratification.
The obscure shit you can find on youtube never ceases to amaze me. Who the hell
is digging up and posting this stuff? God bless 'em Wink

The Superbikers was the genesis for SuperMoto.

I loved that series. A great format with so much talent. I would never have thought to look on YouTube. Thanks GTS.  Thumbsup

I used to watch that with my dad when I was a kid Smile.  Dad used to take my little brother and I to motocross matches and I got to see a Supercross in Toronto one year. But when it came to Superbike racing we were glued to the tube and it was our time.  Not that long ago when I described it some people they thought I was off my rocker.  Thanks for posting this and bringing back such great memories Bigok
