The results of this poll will help me decide what color to paint the 636 before I sell it, so vote.  Bigsmile

Assume the bike is a solid color.

Well in that case I change my answer.  Green.  I'd go with the stock color.

Black Power. Bigsmile Lol Lol

The zx6r came in 4 colors in 2003 so I could paint it black and still have the "stock" look going.  Razz

Black Pearl, Candy Lightning Blue, Passion Red, Galaxy Silver

I'm also just curious in general what color people like best.  I can't go by what bikes I see, because sometimes you buy a bike and it doesn't come in your preferred color.  I own two blue bikes just because they were cheap, so I'm thinking blue might not be the hottest seller.  Lol

I agree w/ black, but I voted "other" because I'd find a painter that could do a matte finish like Ducati's "Dark," the matte black from the Honda VFR, or the Aprilia Futura's ash black

If this is for a re-sale color, consider your market. This website doesn't probably have a lot of 636 buyers/owners, and, dare I say it, probably a little older and more conservative than the typical 636 shopper.

So maybe do another poll, but put the question more for your intended market. Like: If you were looking to squid out, what color bike would you want?  Bigsmile Or: What color is your inner hooligan attracted to?  Lol

I voted blue - but red would probably more geared for who the most likely buyer would be.

Yellow, with flamboyant multi color right behind it.  I have been messing with various rattle can colors, but the paint goes on track plastic, and any bike with track plastic and drilled bolts has zero resale value anyway.

While I really, really love the color of my present bike (Sunset Red), I really also loved the color I had on my 03 ZX12R.  It looked like a dark purple and was called Cosmic Splendor Red but it really looked almost black until you got it in the sun.

I love bikes in BRG, even non English ones. It's about the only color that will make me go "Ohhhhhh, nice!"

I also like bikes in color schemes that are historically associated with the company:

a Kawasaki in lime green? A Honda in red, white and blue?  Thumbsup

Black is very good for making a bike look more of a piece.

Silver blends into pavement and concrete too much for my liking, but looks good on angular bikes.

Red, blue and yellow are pretty "meh" to me.
