Regarding the SW-Motech Alu Rack tail rack: I know that installing this on a US-spec ZX-14 requires using the Euro tail section because the Alu Rack requires the cutouts for the Euro-spec grab handles.  Ok so far.

Question is this: has anyone modified (cut) the US-spec rear seat cowl so that it can still be used with the Alu Rack installed?  I don't have an Alu Rack on my 14 yet but from the pics I have seen, it appears that it would be possible to just cut the tail off the cowl so it ended just ahead of the Alu Rack.

So, if anyone has tried this, I'd love to see pics!
