Wonder if they'll extend all their bikes to 12K now, if their top line R twin has 12 K servive intervals, cause you *know* that's not going to be an easy 12K. Very nice bike indeed.

7500 miles = 12000 km. I wonder if somebody made a units mix-up.

That's very likely, as 12K miles is 20K kilometers.

Another review in which the D-16 is invoked in comparison to the '98R, and not in a way that would make D-16 owners thrilled IMO. Who needs a revvy V-4 when you have a grunty L-2 at half the price that can perform as well or better?
I anxiously await the inevitable track comparo.
In the mean time, I can't decide which bike sounds better.
