Thank you very much for the update JamminJere.  Here's hoping for Becky's speedy recovery.   Thumbsup

Jeets and Chiltech were behind him when it happened.  I think Jeets was behind Chiltech when that happened as well, so he got an eyeful of spills on Saturday.

Jere, thanks for the follow up on  Frank and Becky.

I hate to hear she needed a hip replacement and wish her a good and speedy recovery!

Sounds like minus the incident a good time was had by all. Too bad I couldn't make it. Hopefully I'll be ready to go here shortly.

Hey there!

I want to give to Rincewind a big thumbs up for leading the ride on Saturday Bigok. My wife Cindy and I thoroughly enjoyed every mile of it!  It would have been nice to have had more time to talk over lunch... but we kinda stuck in an unplanned Scratch fugawi  Headscratch

Dinner at Stoudts was wonderful and I was glad we decided to stay over instead of riding home that evening.  After breakfast with Scratch, Tam and Rue we took a more direct route home and made it back just in time to get the covers on the bikes before the rain started to fall.

(P.S. - Find more of those of dirt/gravel roads  Cool)

My apologies to all, this kind of stuff is personal to me and I felt it would be best left to Frank to decide if he wanted to discuss this on the open forum.  Hence, why I stayed so quiet on this thread.

Ed,

Don’t encourage him, as dirt and gravel are where you go to ride horses. Motorcycles are better on asphalt and concrete.

Crap!  I'm SO sorry to hear about Frank and Becky.. I hope it wasn't anything too rough on them OR the FJR. I'll have to call them at a decent hour and see how they are. Chiltech, I hope you're not too sore this morning either.

I was on alot of the same roads yesterday, (125, goldmine rd, etc) on the way to and from Thompsontown to meet with the guys I'm traveling to Nationals with for our pre-trip meeting. (SWRiverstone,cablebandit,SLK50).  EricJ  rode up with Scott from VA/WV, it was nice to meet him as well. We had a great lunch and a good little ride before we split up and headed our separate directions in the rain.

Looks like Stoudts was a hit for the food, I'll have to make it there the next time something is planned.

See you on the road,

Jerry

I'm really sorry to hear about the laydowns.  Sad I glad to hear thet everyone is ok & and on the road to recovery! It was great to meet SWRiverstone,cablebandit,SLK50 & JamminJere! We had a great ride & not much rain. I snapped a few picks but my ride/photo skills are a work in progress...

I hope to meet you on the road!

Eric
