I definitely want to do this, but I can only make it for dinner.  Of course, I don't want to ride out there and find I'm the only one showing up for dinner  Lol.

Anyone want to roll-call for dinner?

Assuming the moons line up so that I can attend, I'll be doing dinner after an all-day, wandering route across PA.

I'm planning to stop in for either lunch or dinner. I'll be doing rides that day with my Retreads chapter, which is hosting a rally HQ'd in Bird-In-Hand (500-600 bikes), plus I have to sneak down to the Scottish games in Fair Hill, MD that day, too.  Lunch may be more likely for me, but I'll see how the day plays out.

Yeah, dinner for me and two others so far.

We'll bug out from Annapolis Saturday morning earlyearlywise; and stay overnight at the 'tel next door to Stoudt's.

So the suggested ride routes seem to be forming nicely; what about ride plans?  Do we want to set a time Saturday morning, or afternoon after a (non-beer) lunch for us to all meet up somewhere's in or near Adamstown and do a loop, then return for dinner (and beer)?

And/or a Sunday morning ride for anyone who's overnighting?

I'm going to see Hatebreed and Type-O-Negative that night in Allentown so I won't be able to do dinner.

I might just ride out for lunch then ride back home.

Type-O-Negative?  Good god, are they still around?  Saw them play at the old 9:30 Club a bazillion years ago...

Yep, still around. Playing at the Crocodile Rock Cafe (520 W. Hamilton Street, Allentown, PA 18101) at 6:30 May 17th. The girlfriend is a big fan.

My thoughts are to solidify a good loop, tap it into my GPS, get an idea of the time, then suggest a time on Saturday to do it, and lead it if I can.  If it is less than 4hrs at a reasonable pace, I would say 1pm leaving Stoudt's parking lot so people can do lunch there if they choose.  Otherwise they can eat elsewhere and just meet in the parking lot, then do dinner after the ride.

If people want to get an earlier start on the routes, it would give them time to stop at places of interest, such as the Pagoda, the Yuenglings factory in Pottsville (which is very near the Northern route in the other thread), Amish stuff, hiking, antique shopping, or whatever.

I don't know yet when I'll eat at Stoudt's - lunch would be cheaper, but damn they make good steaks, and the beer isn't half bad.  I will have to sit down with my War Dept to discuss.

There is a Crocodile Rocks in Myrtle Beach that has dueling pianos every weekend.  Is it like that?  I love that place!

enjoyed the meet n eat at Dennys - so my wife and I will be there for lunch

she's on an intruder 800 and thought she wouldn't fit in the stn mode...

I followed her on one of our gap runs last fall, during our 2300 mile cruiser tour of the smokies, BRP, WV etc, and wished I had my FZ1  Lol
