They've been talking about this alot over on 675net.  Sounds like a pretty good deal.  Buy the package for the racing series, and you can use the bike at club races it qualifies for.  

Spec classes like this never seem to prosper in America.  The last couple I can think of were the Aprilia Cup and the 883 cup over 10 years ago now.  They created some great racing, and racers(Hopper, the Bostroms, Aaron Yates, etc) but died on the vine for some reason.  Not enough tuning chances I guess.

It seems most of the car racing has become "spec" series here in the US, amazing that bikes couldn't generate more interest....of course with the AMA classes the manufacturers are almost guaranteed to win a class.
