Are they supplying Buell's for this? I don't see that spelled out. Or maybe I'm confused because they have a tech inspection list that covers the bike YOU BROUGHT TO THE TRACK.

NESBA days at Road America are $185. This Buell event says $150....there has to be an extra amount for the bikes if they do loan some out.

It states 'Free on-track test rides of the latest Buell motorcycles'.  I assume that means you ride your own for the most part?   Shrug

Yes,they do.It is like demo ride except it takes place on the race track, and you can go as fast as you can.Instructors are fast enough, they won`t slow you down unless your last name is Rossi.

The guy from my other forum went to such  an event last year in Utah (Miller?),basically you can ride your own bike or take a Buell for spin in your session. And of course your bike has to pass inspection.

There were no Buell rides in first and last session of the day. With STT there are usually 3 20 min sessions before lunch and 4 in the afternoon.

I`ve never ridden V2 on the racetrack, new 1125 has some serious-no-excuse punch,so why not to try it. Razz

150 $ covers it all,your bike and/or Buell.It is a form of promotion,now,hopefully Ducati will follow that with 1098 R. Wink

No. It's quite a deal. They provide a very good lunch, too. When i went last Sept they just brought a fleet of 1125Rs.

You certainly can if you like... some guys in my group just brought their trackday bikes and rode those all day. Good deal for a trackday with lunch. I personally rode my own bike for the first session and the 1125 for the remaining sessions. It was a friggin' BLAST. Thumbsup

Good point Mr.S. The Buell 1125R track day at Laguna Seca last fall had rain. None of the Buells were allowed on the wet track.

It was a friggin' BLAST. Thumbsup

As long as the Blast is not one of the models Buell is allowing test rides on.  Are they still making those?
