My CEO just came in and asked me if I thought it would be a good idea to sponsor WSB at miller and 5 euro races... I told him I may be more enthusiastic about it than the general public and would ask around and see what you guys thought. Anyone have viewer stats/demographic info, etc?

Whats the market like for Avacados of Death in Northern Utah?

It would help to know what industry you are in and whether you think other events at Miller (AMA Superbike, Grand American Road Racing Series, etc...) have impact on your customers or provide incentives for employees and sales staff.

Miller Motorsports Park's marketing department should have all the demographic info you could ever need.

You're missing out on some good racing, and a chance to throw empties at your TV whenever Biaggi appears on screen.  Bigsmile

What kind of sponsorship are we talking about, 1K? The idea of doing a partial Euro deal is intriguing.

I have no idea what sponsorship of WSB entails or what your company could expect to receive in return but I certainly am curious.  I also have no idea of the demographics but as DB said Miller should have some good info and Speed TV may have some info as well.

What I do know is that WSBK is probably the most competitive and exciting moto series running right now.  MotoGP is great but if I had to pick only one this year it would be World Superbike.  I am going to do everything I can to make it out to Miller this year.

See the resemblance? We're like brothers from other mothers. And I like sheepskins... your just fakin', I know it!!! He even knows that I accept that owning a slower red GPZ is not something to be pityed, rather that it should be celebrated that your bestest buddy is blessed to mount a faster black one!

I think the best place to go for info would be to the people seeking sponsorship. This is the sort of info that they have to provide in order to expect any investment. The venues for the races or the WSB organization itself would be the best people to contact.

if yer company does business in Spain, I'd say go for it.

Spain has a population of 45 million and 43 million of them follow motorcycle racing  Bigsmile

otherwise, I'd say sponsor a racing boat like Miss Budweiser  Bigsmile

or Pro bass fishing?

Oh yeah?  Well I came up with a word that rhymed with Theresa for him.  Surely Leaning Tower of Pisa has got to be worth a trip to the hospitality tent.  Bigsmile

 Lol Bigok

We would have private boxes/hospitality suites at the euro races. That alone had me questioning my ethics and trying not to talk the boss into it without some numbers.  Lol I suppose it's the standard sponsorship deal, banners, decals, paint, etc.

We have experience in that area; we ran a top fuel dragster for the past couple of years.

None of my purchasing decisions have anything to do with sporting event sponsors. I don't pay any attention to them at all.
