Acadian Rider, nice work.
I was probably with you when most of these picture were taken, now I know why you asked me to move my bike away from yours. ha ha hi hi

After reading the comments, a "recommended roads to travel on" tread of provinces and states would be nice for the folks planning trips.

New Brunswick has a beautiful ocean shore line but the lakes and mountains should also have a "must see"  comment on a travellers note pad.

Bump!

I've been riding slightly over two months now in 2009 and have taken hundreds of pictures including those of covered bridges but that will be the subject of another thread when I'm done with all of them.  For now I'll add to this thread.  All of the new pictures were taken in Southern New Brunswick. Some were taken on the Wee and others on the big Super Tanker (ST).

I'll do this in chronological order.

This cemetary is located in Albert County.  The pictures were taken on 2 May 2009.

Someone has a twisted sense of humour.   Lol

Don't spend too much time reading the sign or you'll miss the twisty.

The next series of pictures were taken on dirt roads in Westmorland County all within one hour from Moncton.

The next three were taken around Memramcook 9 May 2009.

The next seven were taken going around Dorchester Cape on 16 May 2009.

The next ones were taken on the unfinished Fundy Trail that will join St. Martins to Fundy National Park once completed.

They were taken on 23 May 2009 on the ST with Sue.

Do you detect a pattern with the dates?   Bigsmile

Low tide in St. Martins.

The next one were taken on 13 June 2009.  I only have pictures of covered bridges for 30 May 2009 and 6 June 2009.  Those will have to wait.   Bigsmile

These ones were taken in and around Fundy National Park.

This one would have been impossible with the ST.

The next three are right at the Alma entrance of the Fundy National Park.

O.K. I'm cheating but I can't help it.  Hee's one of the covered bridge at Point Wolfe inside the Park.

The next series of photos of the Confederation Bridge were taken on 18 June 2009. I'm sure you all know that that bridge joins New Brunswick to Prince Edward Island.  I believe it is the longest bridge in the world over waters that freeze in the winter but don't quote me on this.

This next one is from the Cape Jourimain lighthouse by the bridge.

The next three were taken around Memramcook 9 May 2009.

I have some great memories of Memramcook and the surrounding area.

Almost two decades ago now, I visited St. Joseph and Memramcook with my girlfriend.  Now, I was born in the West, but my family is Acadian...and it was just wild to see my last name on about every third mailbox (it is a rare name out here).  We visited the Acadian museum, and when I signed the guestbook, the docent saw my name and asked if we were visiting for the family reunion the next evening--this was the first we'd heard about that, but we did decide to attend.  Different branch of the family, but we were warmly welcomed and had a great time!
