You ask and you shall receive  Thumbsup  Not many of them due to the rain in the morning, but some are better than none.

second meet spot confirmed

jct of rt 2 and 202 where 202 splits off from rt 2 again there is a shell gas station/dunks/honey farms

we will leave here at 9:30 AM sharp
please top off or have enough gas to go atleast 100 miles + / - ( don't be "that guy"  that needs to stop the group an unexpected time for you to fuel up)

I went and did my home work today. the route to the BIG meeting spot in G barrington is roughly 100 miles away and if we keep our breaks to 15min we can get out there by 1pm.  My plan is to go straight to the price chopper lot , people can split there to do what ever they wish for lunch,  Leah and I will most likely hit the Mc D's in the parking lot.   I would rather use  the extra 30-45 mins  to include some back roads to the route rather than rush right there to  sit down to eat .
This group will be at a 25 over pace.

Thanks for the info Sean, I updated the first post to reflect the four meeting spots:

1) Rindge, NH
2) Orange, Mass.
3) Granby, Conn.
4) Windsor, Conn.

(see the first post for directions and times)

As the ride approaches I have a couple of helpful suggestions for everyone:

1) please gas up before you get to your meet spot, you don't want to be "that guy" as Sean said
2) bring small bills for lunch, changing a bunch of 20's from the ATM is a PITA
3) bring a map; this isn't a guided tour and you might find yourself wondering how to get home

10 day forecast is looking good.   Banana

I won't be leading anyone on the return trip, as leah and I  need to shoot right home for an early evening engagement.  So as mentioned, bring a map so you can find your way home.

Just saw in the paper that Mototown has closed it's doors. Our meeting
spot just turned into a ghost town.

Well, I'm now iffy as to showing up as my right elbow flared up in pain this weekend at work and I don't know if it will be healed by Friday night

Talked to a friend who worked in the suspension shop at Mototown. Three brothers own it and none of them knew how to run a buisness. Infighting and mounting debt caused the closing. They knew they were going to close the doors, and still took $1500 membership fees from unsuspecting customers. To bad. They had a real unique opportunity there.

Stephan and I will be at the Granby CT meeting point. Anyone want to meet with us in Southwick MA (literally across the town line of Granby) let me know. We could meet at the Gritsmill Plaza around 8:00 am at the corners of 10/202 (College Highway) and Rte 57 (Feeding Hills Rd).

I rode by there last night. All the other businesses are still open (Golds gym, Blimpies). Should be no problem for us on Sat., 'cept for the rain.

Hey folks...Sudzz from stromtrooper.com here...

It looks like there are at least a couple from this group that are meeting us in Granby.   Just a reminder, we plan on leaving at 9am and we have a route planned out that includes a short break at McDonald's in Winsted, CT, a nice ride from there into NY state then to Great Barrington for Noon.

I plan on being in Granby by 8:15-8:30.  Hope to see some of you there or at the parking lot in G.B after lunch.

Dave

Me, too.  Working tonight, parade in the morning, concert in the afternoon.  Maybe we'll meet at the Cliff's open house in Danbury next Sat.
