One of my great riding moments was being halfway across NA, experiencing the first few days of Utah heat, and the heat rash was so bad I had to buy a bottle of blue Gold Bond on the fly at some desert joint and run into a local gas station to apply liberally!:o
Man I came out of the washroom with a big grin on my face
and my black riding gear just covered in white powder. The bottle has been in my tank bag ever since!

How long have you been ridding? I’ve been using Corn starch since the age of 8 (off road). It doses exactly the same thing as Gold Bond and the Monkey butt powder. If you look at the ingredients of these two I suspect you will find the main ingredient will be corn starch. Man do I feel old now:eek:

That Subaru OT thread has got to be the most linked to other forums for the whole 'net.

Yeah, and they are all still in high school.
Definitely a extremely funny thread. I had forgotten about it, but before you poke fun at the Subaru folks you might take a look at some stats from the NASIOC board.
1. Most users ever online was 6,057, 01-18-2004 at 03:35 PM.
2. Threads: 1,041,573
3. Posts: 15,441,103
4. Members: 125,329
5. Active Members: 35,122
I happen to also be a member of that board as well, since my four wheeled vehicles happen to be Subarus. NASIOC is one of several boards that cover all things Subaru.

I first found out about it while deployed to Kuwait. 140 degree afternoons were a little easier to tolerate with some Gold Bond sprinkled here and there. Awesome stuff.
