I always wanted to ride through France, now... not so much. I think I'll take Italy.

Wish it wasn't so damned expensive to ship a bike over there and back. My V11 would love to visit it's birthplace.

You could always go to Mandello, rent your V11's cousin from Agostinis and ride around for a while, take lots of pics and show them to your V11 when you return home. I'm sure she will understand! Bigok

 Drool

We really must get back to Italy one of these days.  Too bad renting two motorcycles over there for a few days is darned expensive!

Lago di Como...   Inlove

Mandello, Mamma Ciccia, and Duilio Agostini...   Inlove

Cortona (I've walked down that very street)...   Inlove

Bellano...   Inlove

In Bellano there's a KTM/Honda shop right across the street from a coffee house.  It's like magic, only better because it's real.

I was chatting up the gal at the KTM/Honda dealer and asked, "Is that place across the street a good place to get a coffee?"

"Well, it's OK," she said.  "But better yet I'll just make you one right here."  And she went into the office, fired up the espresso machine and made me a shot with a little sugar packet and a spoon on the side just like in a coffee house.

But I was in a motorbike shop!  Just like heaven but you don't have to die to enjoy it.   Bigok

Goddamn it, now I want to go back.   Sad Cool Inlove
