Movie Review: 10,000 BC

Well, I'm not really sure what to make of this film.  I neither loved it nor hated it.  But it did leave me feeling a bit disappointed.  I was expecting to see what life was like 10,000 BC, and what kind of creatures lived during that time.  Instead, I got a love story.  WTF?  

I guess the bottom line is, if you've got nothing else to do, watch it in theaters.  Otherwise, wait for the DVD.

I saw some reviews/previews and got the same vibe I did from Dragon Wars, 300, and Resident Evil 3. Not a thin plot, but darned near *no* plot. A vehicle for nonsensical CGI and (in the case of 300, *gay*) T&A. Not that I mind, however! I grew up on a steady diet of Kung Fu, Godzilla, and the like movies and these are pretty much the same. Good for what they are.
