As long as they continue to put two catalytic converters under the seat I think it'll continue to be quite warm.

I assume you are talking about an 07 Sprint? or is it a S3? or a Tiger? or a Scrambler? or the 675? or the Rocket III? or.......
.
If you are looking at the Sprint they started putting heat kits on the late 06 models so it shouldn't be an issue.
I'd like to know if the 07 Sprint has a new seat or if the OEM gel seat comes standard or if it's the same old seat.

I never had a heat issue with my 06 Sprint. I rode it all summer before I found out that it didn't have the heat kit installed (which I had done at the end of September). Yes, it was warm, but so was every other faired, water-cooled bike I've owned.
The changes on the 07 are minor. I plan on trying one out, just so I can see if the change in the handlebars is worth doing to mine; they have a kit available to convert 05/06 bars to 07 style. I assume you could change the seat as well. I'd see what kind of deal I could get on the 06. Try an 07 later, and if the changes are warranted, make them then. It might save you a good chunk of change.

The 07 seat is new. I know that at the least, it is narrower in the front, supposedly to make it easier for the inseam-challenged among us to reach the ground.
The optional "Aero" screen for the 05/06 models is now standard; there are also taller and shorter screens available.

On a side note, it's good to see they are still offering the low APR rates (2.9%) on the 05/06 ST's through the end of the year.
also the free saddle bags till 12/31

I think the bags sre free on the 07s as well. Don't quote me on that, but I think they heard enough bitching about them that they decided to include them from now on.
Edit:
OK, you
can
quote me. From the Triumph website:
" The balance tips in favor of two-up touring on the 2007 bike with lockable, quick-detach panniers as
standard
."

I believe you are correct. For 07 the bags are extra $$ on the Tiger.

I assume that the heat problem is about the seat and what's under it . I took the ST 06 for a test ride this summer wearing a pair of low touring boots by Oxtar and I felt much heat cooming up my ankles .Does anyone have similar problem?

My ankles do get warm sometimes, but not enough to bother me.
The "heat problem" (mine never bothered me; I rode all summer before I found out I didn't have the heat kit). isn't just from under the seat. The TOR will alleviate some of that, as it eliminates the catalytic converter in the exhaust. The heat kit adds some foam panels under the tank and inside the fairing that serve to redirect airflow and keep the warm air off of you.
I didn't really notice a difference. My heat kit didn't get installed until the end of September, though.

I have found with the 06 and bags off that there is more heat then with bags on. now mind you its is about 90+ out and stuck in traffic but ya there is a lot of heat there.. More then my 94 cbr 1kf (almost 2x the heat) I think I will be looking for a TOR or some other pipe by this summer (due to heat) to get the two cats out from under my butt.

Colour - Sunset Red dropped, black introduced
The screen
The handlebars - slightly further back & up
