Ahhh....where is the fuel filter?
Why is the GPZ made with out a fuel filter! What gives!

I didn't know you could! Unlike my VFR the Z is gravity feed. I assumed this would cause the bike to maybe run a bit lean.
Wasn't sure I could do this.

Wasn't sure I could do this.


I had one on my gravity fed CB750, and it did nothing more than keep the fuel clean.  Fuel will flow from gravity just fine, at least until the filter clogs up.

How much space do you have for the filter?  When I put mine in, I cut out a hunk of the fuel line the size of the filter and yeah, just spliced it in.

Yup, it's right there handy. Just pull the springy thing-a-ma-bob out of the way and insert peace of mind.

Oh, and BTW, the GPZ petcock is only gravity feed on 'Prime' setting. the on 'On' or 'Reserve' it's vacuum feed.
