So, it seems that Wifey wants to sell her VTR. She simply doesn't ride it enough. Exactly 0 kilometers last year. Sad

It's a 1990 Honda VTR250 with under 10,000km on it. Fantastic shape. Looks like it's lived indoors it's entire life.

Looks just like the one below (pic stolen offf interweb), in almost identical condition, but it doesn't have the seat cowl.

Actual pictures posted now! Main album link:

http://s13.photobucket.com/albums/a280/veefer800canuck/vtr250

It does, however, have an F-1r aluminum muffler and a Sargent (recovered, stock) seat.

We paid $2600 for it in 2000. It has suffered a small drop at <5mph and 98% of the damage has been either professionally repainted or completely replaced. A small scuff on the end of the pipe is all that remains.

KBB says it's worth $1535 USD, but bikes in Canada usually run far more than the KBB USD valuations.

Anyone have any ideas?

That's a nice looking bike for someone starting out.  I sent you a pm.  I know a gal who might be interested in it but she is vertically challenged.  Does this bike sit quite tall or is it relatively low from saddle to ground.

My wife is 5'2" with a (relatively) long torso and short(er) legs. With the cut-down Sargent seat, lowered suspension and /70 profile tires, she can *almost* flat-foot the bike at a stop with her Joe Rocket riding boots on. Like 1/4" of air from heels to ground.

Oh, I can also measure the seat height if need be. It's probably lower than stock by an inch to an inch and a half.

$2000 would seem about right. i would start at $2500 and let them negotiate from there. Nice bike

Is this M/C still for sale? I know the original post is seriously outdated.

The best part is the new owner was happy and so am I
