I've only been in Fla. for 2 days now and I've seen more squids here then I've seen in a long time.  Between I-275/75 and roads around Wesley Chapel area I've seen all kinds of young people who must have a death wish.  And protective gear, fuhget about it.  Crazy

Wait until you make it around Orlando or Miami!!!   EEK!

Florida must be the squid capital of the US. There are probably more unlicensed squids than there are licensed riders in this state.  There are over 400,000 registered motorcycles in Florida. And over 40% of the motorcycle fatalities in Florida are unlicensed.

Also part of it is that if you pay cash for a bike in Florida, no bank to require insurance, Florida does not require any insurance motorcycles. So all the guys with too many tickets to afford insurance from hot rodding around in their import tuner cars switch to motorcycles.

That is unbelievable.  I almost moved back to this state but decided against it several years ago.
