I don't have to be there till Monday night  Thumbsup and done on Friday at 1PM.  Never been before so any ideas would be helpful.

If you can, take HWY 177 south through the Flint Hills.  You can get off of I70 south of Manhattan, and ride 177 to ElDorado (at HWY254) and then west into Wichita.  In Wichita, eat lunch at the Old Mill Tasty Shop (NE corner of Douglas & St. Francis); great chicken salad and daily blue plate specials (and killer malts.)  Best cheeseburger is at Ty's Diner (Second and Walnut.)  There's a nice art museum, a modest air museum (rebuilding a B29 at present,) and Exploration Place (science museum.)  Clubs in the Old Town Area (around First and Mosley) and probably a singer/songwriter night at the Artichoke (Broadway and Murdock) on Wednesday night.

If you want to fill in one day you could go to Hutchinson about 50 miles northwest of Wichita and check out the Comosphere.  Lots of space stuff there from rockets to spacecraft.  To take it all in would take several hours.

The 1st Sunday of every month in Cassoday, Kansas is generally a very large motorcycle gathering (all types)--it looks like you might be here in time for that.  The small town of Cassoday is northeast from Wichita along the turnpike.

Did we get you good weather today, or what?  (Sorry, no guarantees on the rest of the week...)

As you said it was not bad yesterday.  But this afternoon is a good day to be a duck.
