If we're doing a group dinner in ES, say, at the Mexican place or at a BBQ place or whatever... and find out what the Per Person charge including soft drink and tip would be, so I can tell you fine folks how much to pay and to whom.

Also, anyone who previously had great ideas about raffle prizes - say, 5 or 6 of them (one kickass-ish grand prize, some smaller) - and who can tell me what they'll cost (via PM) and whether that vendor will take PayPal, I can lump that in, average it across the estimated number of attendees, and try to further figure out how much you fine folks should pay.

Lastly, I'm waiting for someone to tell me the cost of T-shirts.  I have heard a design is in the works, but have no idea about the duplication.  That's another detail in figuring out how much you fine folks will pay.

I have a PayPal account set up - nationalmeet2008@yahoo.com - for taking payments for registrants.  When we know how much to charge everyone you'll send me $X along with the member name, real name, and T-shirt size.  If you're paying for 2 people, then it'll be $2X, 2 t-shirt sizes, &tc.

Past meets seem to have had this whole "committee" thing going.  I like committees.  Feel free to commit.   Inlove

I can't be trusted with money.  Lol

I was going to see if I can get goodies donated, but probably little stuff.

Dred;  We could keep it simple and just do separate checks at were we all meet to eat, that's what we did at the central meet. Then all we need is a reservation for X number of folks. Also on the door prizes, I think if we ask nice to some of our own folks right here on STN. we can come up with a few things to give out, I for one would be willing to donate a few items ,say 5 or 6 things in the $10 or under range, if we had a few more folks jump in we would then only have the T shirt thing to figure out.  bete.

Hey, suits me fine.  I'd just need to charge the cost of the t-shirt plus PayPal fees.

I was hoping to be able to afford a gift cert from NewEnough, GPSCity, or Twisted Throttle as a grand prize, but if we can get some nifty enough prizes donated, I'm all for it.  Less bookkeeping, less stress, more time for riding.

I know it's early yet but to help get things nailed down can anybody else pony up for some door prizes? I don't think it has to be anything big just some every day stuff from you local bike shop. Lets give good old Dred a hand and do this. PLEASE!.  bete..

I pity the server who'll have to deal with 30-40 separate checks...  better leave them a really nice tip if you do that.

That's what I was thinking - simple for us, but a b*tch for the server.  Sad

So we need:
Tshirt ideas (?)
Dinner ideas
Registration
Registration fees

Anything else?
