I read somewhere that there are more deer in NJ today than when white man came to Amerika.  Time for wolves.  Razz

That's a no brainer, there only a handful of whitemen who came over with Christopher Columbus. So definitely there more deer than them. It would be more shocking and ground breaking if the statement was something like, "there were more deer than Native Americans in NJ when the Europeans first came to this land."

Yeh I hear yeh all. As some of you recall one RAN me over (T-Boned me) in 06 on my VFR.
Not a good thing. You have to be very aware in places like north west Jersey and the such and the riding hours.

Beerchug  Here's for making it through without a major incident!

Now, go change your underwear, you stink.

FWIW someone asked me today what my greatest fear is about riding.  My reply was animals.  I don't care if it's a deer or a squirrel, either one could ruin the best of rides.

There are more deer here today than the number of deer that were here when white man came to america.
Deer count vs. deer count.  NOT deer vs. human population.   Lol

I just installed automatic weapons to the VTR - next time Bambi is coming home strapped to the top of my Givi.

Many reasons why deer have interacted w/ us riders/drivers - but they are dumb, tasty vermin.
