Gearing only helps if you spend a lot of time on the interstate, where it's wanting for a sixth cog. Below that it's all tuning and throttle restraint.

It really is not difficult to do if your handy.


Therein lies the problem. I'm not called "Captain Crossthread" for nothing.

My muffler's beginning to show some rust on the inside, and I've been contemplating slip and jet kit. Didn't know if I could do one without the other, but it's looking like I'd best do both.
