86 LeMans IV Raceco dual plug heads ported and polished, 390 cam, timing gears, lightened fly wheel, Dyna coils, rear sets, Rensport 2 inti 1 into 2 exhaust and Corbin seat. Very visceral but there's nothing better then a big boomer throbbing between your legs Still pulls goes great after 50k. Spare 87 SE in case I blew up the 86 but never could. It's all for sale.

2004 Stone. Not really an ST bike but hey it's Lemans derived right? Thinking about selling it and going R1200R though.

Why not go Breva 1100 or Norge 1200? I know a dealer who's got 2 brand-new '06 Brevas for a great price. Just a thought.

If you like all the things that make a Guzzi the bike that it is, I think you may be disappointed in the lack of soul in the BMW.  OK, you do get a better dealer network, but you'll need it as the newer BMWs are not that easy to work on yourself.

+1 on the Norge - I bought it vs. the R1200RT.  It's a much sportier bike and does better than OK in the twisties after getting rid of the Metzlers and going to HyperPro shock and springs.  The bike is now capable of going well past where I want to go in the handling department.
