Anyone willing to take a pillion to the National Meet?

Just as the wife and I were getting ready to attend our Goddaughter's graduation party today, our two bitches (dogs) got into a bit of a scuffle.
Not thinking, I tried to pull them apart the wrong way and my German Shepherd accidentally bit my right forearm. The K9 periced though the bottom and did a little damage. There appears to be slight tendon damage and I don't have much strength in my right hand. Luckily, I can still move all my fingers and the Doc believes it should be fully healed before my trip. Though, he said the long days on the bike working the throttle and brake my be a bit painfull.
I'm going to pray for a speedy recovery because I'm only joking about going as someone's pillion.
I've been planning on making this trip for a long time and have very much been looking forward to it. Please keep my boo boo in your thoughts and prayers. Every little bit helps.

Sorry to hear about getting nipped. First your wife's foot last November and now you.
I would be shopping for a Throttle Rocker or whatever that plastic lever is that snaps on your throttle. I might get one just to ease the highway stretches.

Can you believe that was in November of 2006? And, that as the last little scuffle the two had. I suppose it was my turn this time.

Doug,
I have a throttle rocker you can have if you want it. I"ll mail it to you USPS priority mail. Just PM me with your address if you'd like it. You can buy me a beer in ES.

Thanks for the offer Jere. But in one week the muscle and tendons healed up well. I've even tackled 165 miles of dual-sporting over the past two days. Everything else is sore on me, but not my wrist!
I'll see you in Arkansas!

I threaded new holes for 1/2 bolts and put them in. Since the other side is fine, I'll keep the M8 bolts in there for now.
I've been wondering when that picture of me flipping off the camera from under my bike was going to surface.

Gosh Doug---I only just today noticed this thread! (Been busy and not surfing the site much...) Sorry to hear about the doggie incident...but glad you're pretty much back to normal!
Does that happen often? (The dogs getting into a spat?)

A serious fight has only happened twice in the past 4 years since we introduced our newest dog into out little pack. Her and the oldest have been fighting for the alpha position on and off. This last time, the Briard was in heat which made her a little extra aggressive.
Now that she has her AKC confirmation title, we're no longer going to show her. Therefore, we're having her fixed. This will most likely mellow her out.
Sheri tells me that this sort of infighting is typical between bitch dogs. Going forward, we don't plan on being a multiple dog household. But, if we do, we'll mix the sex of the dogs.

Or perhaps a small caliber rifle & a shovel (for the dog).
