when getting my oil filter today one of the guys in the shop noticed my bike and said he had an SV as well. so I tell him about some of the things I have planned for the winter, including changing the clip-ons to dirtbike bars. well it turns out he has dirtbike bars on his bike, pretty much just what I want, and wants clipons instead. he offers to trade right there. of course I was at lunch and couldnt just trade right then, or I would have. but that will make things nicer, especially if he trade brakelines too, thats gonna be the expensive part in this....
anyways, it was a good day.

so he says his brake lines are shorter than mine, but he'll trade the throttle cables and everything else needed.  and he'll let me borrow a front end lift to get the job done too.  so I could have new bars as soon as new week!

talk about being in the right place at the right time! good deal!

if you haven't already, why not upgrade to stainless braided brake lines since you'll need new ones anyway?
