Just a quick rant:

People who don't know what the hell they are doing should not attempt to work on their own bikes.  I'm replacing the fork seals on my '85 ZX900.  Whoever did it last was an ASS.   Rave  The control valve that goes under each of the springs was upside fookin' down in both forks.  The spring washers for the fork cyliners were put on, on the outside of the cone for the cylinder, so they had the piss pounded out of them for who knows how many miles. Two of'em are missing about 10% of the spring and one was bent at a 90 degree angle.  What sucks is they are not available as a seperate pieces you have to buy the whole fork cylinder ($100).  I bent them back as best I could and the ones that are only 90% seem to have enough left in them to stay on the rod.  I'm going to reuse them.  No choice at this point.  I hate going shadetree mechanic but I need to get this together.  I'll replace the cylinder at a later point.  FUCK....this last douchebag is costing me time and a C note.

 Mad2 Bash Mad2 Bash

What makes people they think they can do shit like this w/o any fookin' clue what is going on.
