Dare I propose it.... Headscratch

Coffee...and bacon...before farkling?

Yes!  It must be so... Lol

I won't be able to make it, but there is a coffee shop in Zion called It's All Good. Don't think they have bacon but it did look like pastries might be available.
They are located in Zion at 2780 Sheridan Road.

If you are in need of more than burgers, brats and beverages at the Farkle Fest, I could recommend a few breakfast stops:

Full Moon Cafe in IL
Cracker Barrel in Kenosha
Apple Holler in Kenosha
Birchwoods Grill in Kenosha

I could possibly be coerced into an early ride for coffee to burn up the last 100 miles left in my tires.

For a good and I do mean very good breakfast, I always recommend "The Point".  It is right across from "The Fatman" @ the corner 41 and 21.

But I bet Denny knows of a place real close to his house......

Denny, I forgot the Valk has a full cage lined rear tire...MAJOR disassembly made easy if we can drop the tire from the lift...made I should come early and get thought before the hords of farkle fans show up...What did you do last time? Remove the bags? Rear fender section?

Oh my........... Crazy

New tires I ordered are here.  I really wish I was going to be able to get dirty on Saturday.

How does the tire-changing situation work, Denny?  Do you just do them?  Or would you coach me on how to do them? Or are you only offering the tools and I'd need to know what I'm doing?  If B or C, it's a total no-go.  If A, then I may try to bring 'em along and if there's time, there's time and if not, so be it.

Thanks.

OK...with the "emphasis" on "real good" that David has provided...this is the place for pre-farkling sustenance.

7:30 AM for coffee and bacon....then on to Seeker's to let the tires spin and such...

Wish I could make this. Triumph Demo Weekend at MCC and I'll be there helping out.

Did MCC move up the demo by a week?  Their site is still saying next weekend, not this one.

I just saw this thread - I think I'll drop by to surround myself in elbow grease and burgers. I'm new to the Chicagoland area, so it will be nice to meet some of you, too.

I have a HarborFrieght tire changer at home, so I can give some of you a hand with tire changes, if necessary. I've also installed the heated grips a few times, so I could help out on that, too.

Looking forward to it.

Welcome to the neighborhood...you'll soon join the parade of those who reside south of the border and head to the SW corner of Wisconsin to enjoy the riding on some of the best terrain within 500 miles.

I've already done that! I spent Memorial Day weekend based out of Reedburg, WI. Wonderful riding up there. I just wish it was much closer...

Pete,
I've never done this.  However, my bike will be needing it soon.  Once I figure it out, I'll let ya know.  You can still stop by though!

Chuck,
Last time I did the rear on the Vakle, I had the ho arse end off for the hyper light install.  That tire change was a real bear FWIW.  You can come early, but I'll be getting ready setting things set up n such.

Charlie, Dave, Scott,  I'll be thinking about you schmucks wolfin down a GREAT breakfast while I'm getting ready for the Tech Day..  I'll call them and request they pull out the cheap tomatoes, just for youse guyz...
