I just recieved an e-mail from Martins stating they are starting a 1st Sunday Meet for those who don't want to ride out to Ephrata or want to try something different. Just thought I'd throw it out there for those who are interested. I won't be going this month but maybe some of you would like to.

1st Sunday at Martin's
This Sunday 9 - 12am

If Ephrata is a little further than you wanted to ride or if you're looking for a smaller gathering stop in at Martin Motorsports in Boyertown this Sunday. There's donuts, coffee and lots of motorcyclists to meet and maybe share a ride with. We have several loops planned - just pick up a route sheet and follow the directions to see the best of Berks County.
Our showroom will be open 9 - 12am. See you there!

June 1 1ST SUNDAY AT MARTIN'S
Sometimes called the "Un-Ephrata", this is a smaller, more intimate version of the popular Sunday morning gathering of motorcyclists focused on getting together to ride Berks County. Martin Motorsports will be open from 9 until noon for this Sunday event.

They started it last month and for the first meeting the crowd was not too bad.
Just brings SMT to the area.

wassa SMT?

I went last month, there was a decent turn out for the first attempt at this.. the route sheets varied in distance. I grabbed the Pocono one and a couple of guys and we left pretty early.  Think If I make it this month I'll hang around to shoot the crap alittle longer.

EJ, are you and Pete,Bill and Tom doing the Ramapo this year?

I planned on Ephrata but if I'm running late I'll be at Martin's about 10ish, it's a little closer. Hopefully a few locals can show me some nice roads in the area or maybe there will be some route sheets left?  Razz
I was there last month late, (11:30) but I did get to meet FJRski and his wife. Thumbsup

Marty, Sam..

I'll be there.. Connie is dressed for summer (low windshield, less bags) custom tag (CON14) If I'm not right there around the bike, I wont be too far away.. I'll try to watch for you guys comming in. If you guys want to hit some local roads.. we'll just decide how much time we have to explore and I'll route some good ones into whichever area you want to head.

I haven't herard from any of my buddies regarding Ephrata, so I'll probably hit Martin's instead.  I just woke up a few minutes ago, but I'll probably be there by 10.

Hey there was a great turnout today at Martins... A very friendly group that inter-mingled with eachother nicely. I was walking around noticing that everyone was talking to eachother.

Thanks to the Guys that came over from the CNJ crew, and some that came down from the Scranton area.

We left for a backroads ride around PA, Marty2, Jetset, JfSlater98,st2sam2, someone with sam whom my memory is slipping, Lloydo, Jeets, and my cousin Ed, made a group of nine.

I hope you all had a good ride for the time we had to get it in. I had a blast.

Hope to ride with all you guys again soon,

Jerry

Jerry, thanks for showing me some great roads, sure beat the hell outta bumper to bumper rt.100. Sad The pace was safe and with a group of nine bikes it's hard to wick it up safely, nice job on point. Thumbsup My buddy had to be home early afternoon so unfortunately we broke off early.
Thumbsup Thumbsup to Martin Motorsports for coffee, donuts and opening the doors for the "sport' and "sport-touring" guys and gals!!!

I was there, but not feeling too social.  I guess I was in the mood for a solo ride today.  After talking for a min with JetSet about the B-King, I got me a donut, checked out their selection of tank bags, one more lap of the new bikes in the showroom, then I was out of there.  I guess I was a little disappointed none of my local buddies called me back about going, so maybe that explains my anti-social behavior today.  I did have a good ride, though.

Sam,
Yes I was sorry to see you guys break off at I-78. We had some even better roads after that up to 309. I hope you can ride with us again some other day when you have more time.

DosEquis,

Yep that was my buddy Jeets and I heading home after the Jersey guys split east on I-78 after our run today. We both had about a 3 oclock curfew from the Dept. of Internal Affairs this afternoon, I made it home by 3:01  Lol

Did you hit Ephrata? or did we miss you at Martins?

Jerry... like everyone else THANKS FOR THE GREAT RIDE!  For those of you who have not ridden with Jerry yet, he's a human GPS!  I thought no one could get me lost in PA but after riding with him I get so twisted around I need directions to get home from the other end of the street.
