I am just wondering if I'll see any Cajun cousins at the meet.  Louisiana after all is a neighbour to Arkansas.

Cajuns and Acadians are the same people.  Cajuns (Acadians) were deported from what is now known as the Province of Nova Scotia by the Brits in 1755.  Some of us ran to what is now known as the Province of New Brunswick where I live. Some ended up in Louisiana.

if you made the ride today down Push Mountain Road with the rest of the group from the meet, you met a cajun with a camera in his hand.

hey cousin.

I actually did make it to Push Mountain Wed but not with the big group.  I was leading a group of three on a Honda St1300.  You did take some pictures of me and I'm going to buy some later this week when I have more time.

If I had known that you were Cajun, I would've stopped and said hello.

What's your last name?  Mine is LeBlanc on the paternal side and Cormier on the maternal side.

hey Acadian Rider, I enjoyed riding with yas on Tuesday. Glad I wandered over to yer motel. The VFRs spark plug fallout was nuts!

Did the rest of yer trip go well? I did ~8200 mi in a leisurely 4 weeks, mostly TX, NM, UT, & CO.  Smile

Hello Paulie!

It was nice meeting you in Arkansas.  Glad you enjoyed riding with our group.   Thumbsup

The rest of the trip went well.  Got back home on Sunday June 15 after 5,300 + miles in 13 days.
