Hi, all.
Went out for a short little afternoon putt-putt around the neighborhood.  Took a few snaps, thought I'd share.

There were thunderstorms out in force this afternoon, I had the good fortune to be able to dodge them.  There was more than one spectacular thunderhead like this on display!

This is near the Boordy Winery in Baltimore County - Maryland is extraordinarily green this season!

Another one of the thunderheads floating in the background above the FJR.

Northern Maryland is Horse Country - this is only one humble spread amongst many.

I found these ruins of an old farmhouse near Rock State Park in Northern Maryland

Kids tube down this small river.  You can just see the entrance to some rapids that decend for the next mile or so.  Lots of fun, and the water is reasonably warm!

Route 24 wends its way alongside the water for several miles.  It's a great road to ride!

Great photos.  I love riding scenic areas; often it seems like the only places people want to ride is where the roads are twistiest.  Thumbsup

And a big thanks for sizing the photos to make them managable at 52000 bps.   Bigok

Nice shots,

The roads look like they are in top notch condition. I'm in Northern Maine and the roads are in pretty rough shape.

You've likely not seen rough road surfaces until you've seen the county roads here where I live. I'll challenge anyone to a "my roads are the shittiest" conest.   Wink

Thank God town, state and PA roads are mo better.

Nice.

You were up in my neighborhood.  Yes, it's really green this year.

Yeah, that's where I like to ride, too.  I head north up Falls Rd. to get out of the city, and just start hitting backroads once I get far enough north.  Baltimore county is great because it really resisted the Suburban Sprawl that consumed a lot of Frederick, Carroll, and Harford counties.  All the money, I guess.  So it's very scenic.

If you want a fun little "racetrack" area, head to Prettyboy Reservior.  I go there sometimes to get my squid on.  Bigsmile

Riding a motorcycle is perfectly safe.  And if I'm wrong, may my body be horribly crushed and mangled somehow.

Nice shots.  I always liked how quickly one could escape from downtown Baltimore to scenic country roads.

One of my main commuter routes.  Bigok

BTW, if you're looking for some nice cornering heading into Northern Balto Co, PM me.  I can give you a few routes.
