I was hoping Missouri would get moved to Region 5 since we ride the Ozarks down here. In fact, maybe all the Regions should be marked not by states but by destinations, such as the Ozarks, Hill Country, Black HillsRockies, West Coast, Smokies and so on.

I'm not complaining, just thinking out loud.

Lived there.  Moved to Arizona.

The TC used to be the best place to live until everyone and their fucking goldfish moved up there.  I decided that if I were going to deal with an overpriced, overtaxed, overcrowded metro area, I'd do it where I could ride year 'round.

I say Region 4, but most of Region 4 is Southwest of here.  If it wasn't for the corridor of industry (94/80), between here and there, I might spend a tad more time riding with this group, but for now, my distance riding target is to quality riding, and that means 1/2 a day's drive to a nice little hub called Maggie Valley.  Shorter rides will stay between the lakes.

Best place we've ever lived, once you get past the weather Bigsmile
