in the last hour, the drivway has disappeared, I can't see the surface of the pond, and there are drifts all around the entropy lab.

We get that here as well. Huge Cottonwood "drifts" of snow. I recall the first time I saw it ... I thought ... no ... snow in June ??  LOL ....  

Thunderstorm here right now otherwise the air would be full of Cottonwood.   Lol
